This year’s Eccleshall effort is being coordinated by Joy Jones and Joan Oldbury, who are hoping for the support of many to distribute and collect in the Christian Aid envelopes during the week set aside nationally for Christian Aid.

The packs of envelopes are packed in street groups and they will be available from the back of the church from Friday 30th April for volunteers to pick up.

This year more than ever we need to help people in the Third World stand on their own two feet.

In addition to the door-to-door collection a special box for envelopes will be in the Stars News Shop in Stafford Street during Christian Aid Week for those people who were out when the collector called. There is also a national website at www.caweek.org.
